Well, if that wasn't an accent that sounded like someone right out of No Man's Land, he didn't know what was! It certainly sounded more familiar than most other accents he'd heard around here, so far. Which both made his head perk up a little excitedly and his stomach clench just a bit with a wave of anxiety, hoping if they were from back home, they - she? - wouldn't recognize him.

He came to a stop and turned to watch her, amused by the shimmer of her scales and vaguely reminded of the way the twin suns would hit the desert sands, and smiled as she bounded up.
