Not untrue, but a wizard can hardly be blamed for declining to specify precisely which item on their person serves as their Arcane Focus. Anyone could steal it, or destroy it, and render her effectively powerless until she could obtain another.
"At least the horrible things didn't disappear it permanently. Fucking fae." One of the few things she dislikes about her Elven half-- the primeval connections to the Feywild. For someone who values control as much as she, the chaos and wild magic have never sat well with her.
"Are there likely to be more of those things about? If so, I know a good few spells to repel the little pests. Nothing permanent, unless they're not native to this plane." A beat. "Do you know, I'm not even sure what plane we're on right now."
