Name: Sveargith Vah
Appearance: a dark green dragon, dark in coloration with a variety of spots, and a tendency towards crystaline bursts along himself (particularly around his claws). Has more leg and neck than you'd think.

Sveargith in life, was known as a warm, good-natured tavern owner. His greatest delights in life were simple, heavy meals that stuck to the ribs. Oh, and ale. So. Much. Ale. He lent an ear to many and spoke of himself to few. A hoarder of information of sorts, he liked to know everything about everyone, all the town gossip and goings on. He would rarely, if ever use the information, but he simply liked having it. Just in case. Many a patron spilled their woes to the attentive barkeep, unawares that they were pouring their secrets into his steep trap of a mind.

CR Interests: Have you made the questionable life choice of spilling your woes or victories to a friendly tavern owner? Try it today! Any number of people are welcome to have gotten a drink or spent the night at Sveargith's tavern (name TBD), so he very likely may have known a good deal of people just.... because of that! Social hubs are handy that way. He might even have a few friends for that reason, although how well many of them actually know him is up for debate. Alternatively, feel free to have lost to him in all the drinking contests. It's not because he's a dragon, he just has a personal problem. Ignis will look a good deal like him as he transforms, and not deviate too much from that.

Name: Earenk Lorsvek
Appearance: A very standard Forgotten Realms-esque adult green dragon.
Blurb: Earenk was a civil servant in her life, sociable and chatty but practical sometimes to a fault. She handled what would have been essentially the parks and rec department of the draconic city. She was curious and had a hard time minding her own business, not to any malicious ends, but it would often land her in trouble on more than one occasion. An earnest desire to help could turn the situation even more complicated. The path to ruin is paved with good intentions as they say.

CR Interests: Earenk is a well intentioned meddler, and sometimes ... maybe more often than not, this ended in making things rather worse than they were before. Has she meddled in your life, for better or worse? Has she helpfully incited a disaster or actually made things better? Has her advice caused more problems than it solved, or managed to do exactly what she hoped it would? Let me know!!

As a note, Sephiroth's dragon form isn't all that much like Earenk's except in proportions and basic colorations. For some reason, he's rather different.

Name: Demora Luthric
Appearance: Something like this is what I was imagining! Green as a base, but also covered in moss and nature elements + flowers growing on her.
Blurb:

Demora had a difficult but rewarding calling in life. She counseled and offered therapy services to military veterans and deeply traumatized individuals. Her ability to speak to people in a way they understood served her well. She focused on connecting with nature as one of her primary techniques. Either animal husbandry, botany or farming, she managed to help countless others like this. While she was often hard to find in her personal life, given she too was often out in nature, she was there when it mattered, both for her clients and her friends.

CR Interests: Rosie is a fiercely independent woman who tends to take a lot on her own shoulders. This is including harm caused by others that she can 'handle' in order to shield others from it. As a result, she is prone to ending up in toxic relationships, trying to keep people at a distance (emotionally), and getting into her own head a lot. She ends up making a lot of assumptions and decisions based on those impulsively rather than just... communicating with people and clearing up possible misunderstandings.

Thankfully, she now shares her thoughts with Demora! This will help, but my actual goal is for her to seek out advice from others to reaffirm the things that Demora is trying to tell her rather than refute them. Also, she's a city gal going back to her roots (haha, pun intended) thanks to Demora and that means spending more time in nature, getting comfortable with her true 'demonic' self again, etc. She'll also try to rekindle her love of things like music and art now that she's able to but have to battle insecurities and being told for a long time she wasn't good enough to make it as a true musician.

As always, too, a major goal of mine is to get Rosie either a tavern to run or a theatre maybe! But she'll need some encouragement since, again, she's been kind of told for a long time she doesn't have what it takes to do something like that and still sort of believes it. Rosie tends to think her only worth is in her looks / sex appeal and so really emphasizes that and gets kind of twisted up in knots when people don't want her, but learning she can make others - and herself - happy in other ways is always the arc I love to go for with her.

Name: Voridin Bansley
Appearance: A gold dragon, most notable for his shimmering wings and how strangely his scales seemed to sparkle, more like stars at the edge of dawn than anything else

Blurb:
Are you an idiot sandwich? You are now. Voridin had been regarded as a top gourmand. His taste for the finest foods, cooking techniques and fierce regard for the creation of the perfect meal was well known. He pioneered several top tier restaurants, holding himself and his staff to high standards. While he was known as charitable and kind to those earnestly trying to learn the culinary arts, he held no quarter for fools and the willfully ignorant. Those who observed proper food safety and a humble heart had nothing to fear... gods help you if you were arrogant or careless.

CR Interests: So one of the reasons I suggested a Gold to Owen upon apping Angeal was because of the line in one of the Gold descriptions being: prefers to keep their assumed forms. AKA similar to Angeal, who would also like to keep lying to people that he is just a normal dude. So I honestly think it would be very funny if, no matter the old CR, no one actually realized he was a fellow dragon. He was literally just ~~Gordon Ramsey~~ this very talented and very angry chef.

Cue Angeal letting slip Voridin's name at some point, and someone's scaly mental passenger being "WAIT, THAT GUY WAS A DRAGON TOO, I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST A BALLSY REGULAR HUMAN"

THAT SAID feel free to have dined at one of his many great restaurants! Or maybe even invited him to cook at a particular occasion! With all his businesses, he would also have done a fair good bit of traveling, so maybe you would have been helped out by sharing a camp or stumbling onto his! Anyone who has ever done so would have been patiently (or not so patiently, if horns clashed) a new recipe to help them keep well fed on the rest of the road, and even a share of some of his provisions to help that. Voridin is always happy to encourage new and interested chefs!

If the latter choice, I'll even RNG a recipe he would have taught them, and which any dragon can thus pass along to their person. If they remember it.

Name: Kellen Mahul
Type: Steel

Personal Information: Spending most of their time in human form, Kellen was a well-traveled writer, focusing themselves on the lives of everyday people that they met. They enjoyed recording the stories of those who's lives would otherwise pass in obscurity and lifting them up to the eyes of the world. Highly regarded both amongst dragon and man, Kellen did not enjoy the spotlight, but was gracious enough to engage their fans in an affable, relaxed manner. Their ideal day is people watching with a pint at the tavern.

CR Interests: Kellen Mahul has seen places. In modern terms they'd probably be a cross between a travel vlogger and the archetype of a researcher who wants to record the stories of all the things before they fade in memory. They'd have been recognized for their writings and while maybe not a household name, definitely heard about in a sort of 'OH that one dragon that wrote those really neat series of travel diaries that got published! I recognize that title at least' way. Kellen can be known by a fan who had met them, by people they've met along the way of travels or just that one person that was sitting at a bar with a pint while people watching!

Or maybe someone in the same sort of travel work as them! Teachers? Students? Fans? Family? Many welcome paths!

Name: Nannan Urathear
Appearance: The 'feather' part of the 'bladed feather' wings is emphasized here. Their wings are of feathery kind, far more whitish than grey. In fact, the scales that run along their back and sides are far more pale and shimmery than one might expect. They transition to a darker, more expected steel color towards their underbelly in the exact reverse coloration. While lacking singular huge horns, their spines flow back from their face and seamlessly transition down the length of their head and neck into an impressive mane of hair. The lighter scales shine and shimmer like moonstones and moondust, while the darkest are almost black. Depending on the angle one views them at a distance, they may appear as different phases of the moon.

Elidibus's full transformation will be almost identical to them, with the addition of an area of crimson scales directly in the center of his chest.

Blurb: Nannan found themselves bereft of a true desire for specific work in their life, tending to do odd jobs that allowed them to eke out a modest existence. They were however, possessed of a deep desire to understand the world, to live in the singular moment and reveled in the mystery of endless tomorrows. While esoteric, many found them agreeable and calming to be around with their "go with the flow" attitude. Show them an interesting leaf and they will be occupied for hours. They were also noted to have an affinity for halfling herb.

CR Interests: Being a Steel dragon, Nannan more than likely met your dragon while in one of their many mortal guises throughout the years. Considering how far they were prone to wander and how curious they were about the world, it would be very easy for them to have stopped by a fellow's place of business or met them while abroad. If your dragon has done any sort of research or had any adventures at all, it would be easy to say they've met!

I'm open to any sort of past relationship with them! Let me know what you might have in mind.

Name: Kepesk Hurthi
Appearance: A black dragon with red accents and curving horns
Blurb: Kepesk was someone you wanted on your side in an emergency. He was a fixer of sorts, someone who wore many hats and could stay calm even in the face of extreme adversity. His primary focus was on political conflict and resolving tense situations. He was always able to find quick solutions, not just in those situations but in interpersonal conflict as well. He was good at making people feel heard while also working towards resolutions. Outside of this, his favorite pass-time was fishing and could often be found near the closest body of water casting a line to see what was biting.

CR Interests: Any and all! People who came to him for solutions to problems, people who can't stand him, people who just thought he was weird for going fishing or who also were interested in fishing...

Name: Molik Umbraxakar
Appearance: A white dragon with serpentine features and thick fur on his underside (art by TJ!!).

While Mithrun's dragon form may not FULLY look like him (still ironing out details), there will certainly be a resemblance.

Blurb: Molik was not always someone to be feared, but as he rode through life continually unchallenged, he grew his ego and sense of resentment towards the children of men, beastmen and anyone who was not a full blooded dragon. Earning his place in the draconic guard for his skills in combat did not help things. His true self did not show until there was mass-unrest between man and dragon, furthering his already existing bias. He made it as far as he did by hiding it well, but there was always a simmering hatred underneath, that occasionally manifested in using his position in the guard to viciously bully those he saw as lesser while maintaining plausible deniability.

CR Interests: MANY POSSIBILITIES. He's got that military background for one, which could be a fun hook - one way or another. Or folks who knew him before he joined the guard could be good!

I know we've got some less combative types in here and a few who preferred human forms, so it is. Quite likely he could have been awful to them at some point. Conversely, could be fun to have some folks who only knew him by his more agreeable public persona and then hear Mithrun complaining about the hateful racist fuck occupying his head

Name: Bejik Irthir
Appearance: This, although probably with more. Silver dragon-appropriate wings
Blurb: Bejik was truly a servant of the people. While he took many governmental roles, particularly in city-planning and social services, his true passion lay in charity work. He traveled the continent championing many a cause to the betterment of life for all peoples. This, however, left him with very little time for his friends and family, which was a point of frustration. Still, it was undeniable that he cared deeply, sadly at the detriment to himself and those who cared for him. Despite his gentle soul, he often not only neglected his own relationships, but his own health as well.
CR Interests: Unfortunately, it's hard to make any hooks for having been particularly involved with Bejik, precisely because this ~~man~~ dragon straight up neglected having any kind of social life in favor of his work. It's implied he had friends and family to neglect(?!), though, so if you're really eager(??) to give your dragon a friend who ghosted them for work a lot of the time, you can!

The floor is very open for casual acquaintances as well. You know Bejik didn't cook for himself - I assume he spent a lot of time in humanoid form in order to facilitate his interspecies work - so did he visit your restaurant? Did he frequent your bar after work? Did he work with you on civil service projects? Are you someone who observed him having no life and tried to get this guy to loosen up a bit? Plenty of possibilities for casual acquaintanceship, especially for proactive dragons who are inclined to meddle!

Name: Lawrence Virgo
Appearance: This!
Blurb: Lawrence had always been a bit of an oddball. Part of the group of dragons who chose names from other peoples and cultures already set her apart from her peers, she also knew how to gather a crowd quickly - and get them all laughing. Perfect candor and comedic timing easily lead her into being an entertainer, which is where she thrived. Many close to her did find irritation in her apparent inability to take anything seriously, and often turning things into a joke (even if the joke was damned funny). Her sharp wit never left her speechless, be that for good or ill.
CR Interests: Unlike Bejik, Lawrence probably had a very active social life! That said, what kinds of relationships she had are pretty up in the air. Did she do a stand-up routine you watched? Was she the irreverent joker in your group of friends? Do you guys have centuries-old beef because of that thing she said about your shirt that wasn't nearly as funny as she thought it was?

Not directly related to CR(or maybe it is? Maybe your dragon would take exception to this?), but the fact that a female dragon named herself Lawrence based on, presumably, human culture makes me think that Lawrence is a...shall we say a bit of a culture tourist. She loves stuff from other cultures! She does not necessarily make the effort to understand stuff from other cultures. She is the dragon equivalent of a teenage girl seeing boys kiss and exclaiming "omg that's so yaoi!" and not understanding why that sends you on five different flavors of face journey. ~~So help me god I WILL find a way to do something like that with her in-game.~~

Name: Jhank Troth
Appearance: An idea of their blend as it progresses, but inspiration/basis for Jhank as a dragon is here! Mostly, I want him to be silver/black with purple highlights as an element of The Scourge and goopy.
Blurb:

Jhank was not someone you wanted to see you breaking the rules. A lieutenant of the palace guard, he took his job, and himself very, very seriously. Many- in fact nearly all of his peers would refer to him as "lieutenant killjoy" as he preferred to do everything to the book, much to the annoyance and detriment of everyone around him. A strong sense of justice kept him going, and a genuine desire to protect the citizens from bad actors. You had better not let him catch you jaywalking, littering or awoo-ing in any undesignated awoo areas!

CR Interests: Ardyn is not a good man. This will cause quite a bit of friction between him and Jhank, but also give a larger foothold for him inevitably working towards "not being as much of an asshole as he could be." In that sense, I definitely am hoping for people to see his conflict and consider that for all the atrocities he's committed and bad decision-making, he is another deeply traumatized victim of everything in canon to a degree as well. Not an excuse, but an explanation that might lend itself towards some empathy and understanding.

Ardyn is evil, but he's not unrepentantly so and was a man once upon a time who did believe in a better future. Now he's just fighting against literal and metaphorical demons inside him and needs some help. He'd rather hiss and spit and claw at anyone than admit he needs help, unfortunately, but he does!!!

Name: Svern Aryte
Appearance: Sven is depicted as a giant golden dragon with shimmering scales and an exaggeratedly long body similar to that of a wyrm. He's a rather tall dragon with long flowing golden whiskers, a set of several golden horns, and a flat ribbon-like tail. He has golden frills all along his body that eventually form the intricate wings upon his back.

Blurb

Svern, despite being a gold dragon, had a silver tongue. His role as a diplomat and negotiator was the perfect use of his skill. Maintaining an elegant appearance and calm, even-handed demeanor made him the perfect choice for tense situations. While somewhat aloof, Svern was always willing to lend an ear to someone in need, and took every bid for help seriously. Many would have described him as kind but terribly intimidating, which he seemed to be at a loss how to resolve for himself, but rather, engrossed himself in his work.

CR Interests: Perhaps your dragon knows of Svern? Maybe they were old friends? If not, then perhaps they heard of him before? Svern is known for his silver tongue and tends to play the role of the negotiator. Maybe your dragon just needs someone to listen to them? Or maybe they fear Svern?

Who knows! I'm open to most ideas, especially since Svern's personality doesn't differ too greatly from Regis. However, Svern is much more imposing than him. Though, it's all accidental on Svern's part.

Name: Senrik Tolkur
Appearance: A long green noodle of a fellow with swept back horns and big shiny eyes. Popp will have brighter, plainer wings, but share enough resemblance and inherited body language to be recognizable.

Blurb: Senrik was always someone who could talk his way into or out of many things. Usually in his case, out of. He valued following his meandering curiosity above all else. He mostly fended for himself and found himself wandering from place to place with very little rhyme or reason, but his gift of gab allowed him to always find a place to rest his head with a full belly. Not all days were good, but most of the time, he could manage. That was all that mattered to him in the long run- getting by.

CR Interests: Senrik is nosy and travels and hangs out in places until he gets bored or possibly run out of town, which means that he could have encountered just about anybody for short periods of time. Maybe he was involved in truffle hunting and your dragon wanted some truffles. Maybe he thought it would be neat to have a sailing adventure as a human and went along with it when his ship was taken over by pirates and told your dragon all about it as a way to get his drinks paid for. Maybe yours had a nice roof for sunbathing on and had to chase him off there with a broom twice a week whenever he was in town.

Name: Ossalur Isk (meaning "travel" and "star")
Appearance: A gold dragon of Forgotten Realms appearance, his eyes are the color of amber, and he has a pale star-shaped blaze marking that extends from the tip of his nose up along his snout, coming to a point between his horns. He has an exceptionally long, serpentine tail...which often gets caught in doors and high-reaching branches, much to his companions' chagrin. His preferred assumed form is that of a brown-haired human male for ease of travel amongst non-dragon company.

Blurb:

Ossalur could only be described as a classic adventurer through and through. Bouncing from one fiasco to the next. He always left a strong impression in his wake and was a dragon known for having connections. His first and foremost priority was helping people. No task too big, no job too banal, Ossalur would do it all without hesitation if it brought light to those who needed it. In times when he found himself in need of help, he had countless many to call upon for various skills and information who were all too happy to return the favor. That said, he was known to be a bit... odd. Not in a bad way, but more in a kind of chaotic 'cooking with explosives' kind of way.

Though many gold dragons are known for their wisdom and poise, Ossalur could best be described as...chaotic good. He's intently curious about the world around him and sees adventuring as his life's calling, not for fame or glory, but for the experience itself - and an experience better shared with others! He's a compassionate soul, always eager to help out those he meets, forming new friendships (and rivalries) wherever he wanders. When not adventuring, he delights in reading new books in the quiet of his lair, practicing magic, and collecting ancient relics and gems.

CR Interests: Ossalur has an extensive list of friends and acquaintances, owing to his many travels and his strong desire to help people. Think of him as a shounen protagonist with orange cat energy. He's always ready to lend a claw, or a wing, or an ear...just. Be careful. Some of his bright ideas are a little unorthodox. Not in a stupid way, but in a "that's so crazy it just might work!" kind of way. His free-spirited approach to problem solving often meant there were times when he needed a little help himself.

Maybe your dragon was one of these kind souls who were willing to help out a humble adventurer? Or maybe they met during the course of his journey and worked side by side.

I'm open to pretty much anything here: mates, family, friends, rivals, etc.

A core part of what I'm trying to do with Emet-Selch is to forge new bonds and friendships, encourage character growth (in the vein of lending his assistance, the way he used to do in the days of old before he grew bitter and tired), and to give him a chance to come to terms with his grief in a way that isn't, you know, performing underwater puppet shows. Ossalur and his relationships will also be a part of that, since not only is he the sort who would follow a sorcerer around like a puppy (because ooh magicks oooh!), but because he genuinely wants to see Emet-Selch open up his heart and accept the power of friendship into his soul. He thinks he'd be much happier and a lot less grumpy that way!

Name: Yarrow Laurel
Appearance: Steel dragon, something along the lines of this guy. As a steel dragon, he of course had a human form he spent some quality time in, which looked like this. (Picrew link)
Blurb: Yarrow was a detective in life, known most of all for his ability to read people and their intentions. His hobby was people watching and making conversation with new folks of all walks of life. The more he learned of the people in the world, the better he would be at his job. Not to mention the company was usually lovely. His affable demeanor allowed many to trust him quickly and won him countless life-long friends. His personal motto was 'the answer to everything can be found through observation'.
CR Interests: As the blurb says, Yarrow was a real friendly guy who would talk with anyone and everyone. So it's easy to justify him having at least had a passing conversation with any given dragon.

But I think it would be especially fun if there was a dragon he'd investigated and/or arrested at some point about.

Name: Fintir Nannan
Appearance: A White Dragon, fairly similar in appearance to his beloved Blue Eyes White Dragon card. She had an intimidating silhouette, though...that's partially because she was on the smaller side and had to put work into it.

Blurb: Fintir was... bombastic, in a word. A fierce warrior in life, she served in the royal guard. Her greatest joy in life was fighting worthy opponents. It served as the greatest bonding experience for her. One moment she could be embroiled in a vicious battle with a sparring rival, and the next she would be singing their praises and buying them drinks late into the night. She never did anything in halves. For good or ill, anyone she deemed as a strong fighter she would also regard as a fast friend. It was never an empty notion, as she was just as fiercely loyal to her friends as she was to her love of fighting.

CR Interests: If your dragon was a warrior of any type, odds are that Fintir remembers them fondly and longs to reunite with them. No matter what side of any battle they were on, she wants to fight! And say hello! She was also a tavern regular and may have busted some ears with her warbling.

Her passions were a little...intense, so her very active social life and intertwinings will likely cause problems for Kaiba.
